Easy Guacamole is so tasty that you may want to grab a spoon instead of the chips, and you only need a few ingredients to make it!
My family and I just love guacamole, and even my youngest would probably eat it strait from the bowl if he could. Making guacamole is so simple that there’s no reason to buy it, unless you can’t find decent avocados anywhere — rare, but it happens.
Anyway, I thought I would share our family’s favorite guacamole recipe. Since we live in Arizona, we have so many great Mexican restaurants to choose from, but sometimes, you just want to stay at home, especially on game days and holidays, like Cinco de Mayo when they’re packed!
It’s easy to whip up some of our favorite south-of- the-border inspired appetizers like guacamole and salsa, so that’s what I usually do. This easy guac is such a family favorite that we pretty much eat this all summer long!
My version contains jalapeno peppers, so it’s slightly spicy, but you can easily leave those out. I also don’t usually include tomatoes, just because I make pico de gallo at the same time, and there are plenty of tomatoes in that.

Grab some of your favorite tortilla chips, and dig in! Like I said, guacamole doesn’t usually last long around our house, but if I make a lot and we have any leftover, we usually use it on burritos, tacos, quesadillas or even turkey sandwiches!
Do you have a favorite guacamole recipe? If so, do you like it spicy or not?
Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy snacking!
