Our delicious No Bake Key Lime Pie with Cool Whip, lime Jello and Greek yogurt in a graham cracker crust is an easy pie recipe and the perfect summer dessert. This no bake pie is sure to be a family favorite!

This easy key lime pie recipe is a great recipe for the hot summer months. It’s an easy no bake version of traditional key lime pie with plenty of key lime flavor.
This cool, creamy pie is made with simple ingredients and comes together quickly! Did I mention this is also a very budget friendly recipe?
This creamy pie is the perfect dessert for summer parties or to enjoy as a sweet treat on a hot summer day.

Ingredients
You only need 5 simple ingredients for no bake key lime pie. You can find them in your local grocery store or online.
- Box lime Jell-o gelatin — 3oz
- Boiling water
- Key lime pie yogurt — regular yogurt or Greek yogurt
- Cool Whip — thawed
- Graham cracker pie crust — premade crust
Note — I used 2 containers of Chobani yogurt, 5.3 ounces each. If you use a different brand, you may have slightly more or less
How to Make No Bake Key Lime Pie
First, heat the water until it starts to boil. Then, and add the lime Jello gelatin powder to a large bowl.
Pour the hot water over the gelatin, and whisk the water and Jello for about 2 minutes or until the gelatin is dissolved.
Next, stir in the key lime yogurt, and mix well. Finally, stir the Cool Whip into the Jello mixture until completely blended.
The pie filling should be light green and thick.
Pour the key lime pie filling into the prepared graham cracker crust. Use a spatula to spread the filling evenly in the pie shell.
Then, smooth the top of the pie so it’s nice and even.
Chilling Time
Place the pie into the refrigerator and allow to chill for 4 hours. If you have time, chilling the pie overnight is even better.
This lets the pie set up and makes getting perfect slices of pie easier!
I love to garnish this key lime pie with whipped cream and fresh lime slices. I used regular limes, but actual key limes would be the perfect touch!
This isn’t necessary, but it makes for an impressive presentation.
If you don’t want to make homemade whipped cream, add dollops of Cool Whip to the pie slices before serving if you like!
How to Store
Store this no-bake key lime pie covered or in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
It will last 3 to 4 days — if you can resist it that long!
Variations
There are a few ways to customize this key lime no-bake pie to your liking.
I like to keep this a super easy pie, but if you want you can make your own graham cracker crust instead of using a premade one.
Top your key lime pie with a dollop of Cool Whip or whipped topping. You can even make your own whipped cream with heavy cream, vanilla, and sugar.
If you have fresh key limes, Persian limes, or regular limes, top the pie with lime slices or lime zest. Graham cracker crumbs are a great option too.
For extra flavor, add lime juice to the key lime pie filling mixture.
You don’t actually need Jello for a no-bake pie. Just mix key lime yogurt and Cool Whip. You will need to keep this version of the pie frozen though, because there is no gelatin to keep it thick.
If you can’t find key lime yogurt, plain yogurt or any other flavor will work just as well with key lime gelatin. Feel free to get creative with both Jell-O flavors and yogurt flavors here!

No Bake Key Lime Pie
Ingredients
- 3 oz box lime Jell-o gelatin
- ¼ cup boiling water
- 10 oz key lime pie yogurt regular or Greek (2 5 oz containers)
- 8 oz Cool Whip thawed
- 1 graham cracker pie crust 9 or 10 inch
Instructions
- Add Jello gelatin to a large mixing bowl, and pour in hot water. Whisk until gelatin powder is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes
- Stir in yogurt, and mix well
- Gradually stir in Cool Whip, and mix until completely blended and light green
- Spoon Jello mixture into graham cracker crust, and smooth evenly in crust with spatula
- Refrigerate pie for 4 hours or overnight before serving

Heat wave outside, didn’t want to use oven. Made the night before, was perfect! My husband doesn’t like yogurt…he loved it, I didn’t tell him what was in it. Very creamy texture, must be from the yogurt. Added about 1 tbs of bottled lime juice, but would have been just as good without it.
