Hello There,
Today, I thought I would show you our miniature Christmas village. This is a mixture of miniature ornaments, Dollar Store items, a few figures from Michaels and some things the kids created. My oldest daughter loves to create scenes, and she designed the village’s layout. Isn’t it adorable?
We used felt for the snow and spray-painted branches to create the woods in the background. We strung a strand of white lights over the branches. A pair of snowmen stand at the entrance of the village.
A lot of people are doing some Christmas shopping. We added glitter to the felt for a sparkling effect on the snow.
I love how the snow glistens in the light! The rocking horse is actually a miniature ornament, but it goes so well with the toy shop.
The manger scene is supposed to be a live nativity scene. It is just outside of the main street.
We also stuck some foam snowflake stickers on the branches. I love the little boy making snow angels!
This is a nice birds-eye view of the village–kind of like Google Earth.
Here are some children making snowmen. I love how they look so happy!
A few carolers are singing in front of the village church.
This looks so vintage to me. It’s almost like being transported back in time.
I love how peaceful it looks at night.
After I edited the pictures, I saw one of the snowmen had fallen on his face. Either he’s had a long day or a bit too much eggnog!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks so much for viewing our miniature Christmas village!
Dee 🙂
