Polish Sausage Dogs
Thick Polish sausages topped with caramalized onions and nestled in hot dog buns

- 8 Polish sausage links
- 2 large yellow onions peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 hot dog buns
- Mustard and ketchup for topping optional
In a large skillet, fry the onions in olive oil until slightly soft, and season with salt and pepper
Add the sausages, and fry over medium heat, stirring often, until onions are golden brown and meat is cooked through
Cover, turn heat to low, and keep warm until ready to eat
Fill buns with sausage, top with onions, and serve with mustard and ketchup
