- 8 ouncess cream cheese softened at room temperature
- ¼ cup butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth
Add the vanilla extract and brown sugar, and mix well
Gradually mix in the powdered sugar, and mix until well combined and creamy
Stir in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate until ready to serve
For a richer dip, use 1/2 cup of butter.
For more of a cannoli dip, replace cream cheese with ricotta cheese.
