Christmas Sugar Cookie Dip

This easy Christmas sugar cookie dip recipe makes a sweet dessert dip that tastes like sugar cookies. Perfect for holiday parties or a cozy night in with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 17.5 oz sugar cookie mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 8 oz cool whip thawed

Instructions

  • Put the sugar cookie mix into a large mixing bowl, and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mix reaches a temperature of 165℉. Allow to cool completely
  • Add cream cheese to a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth with a hand mixer
  • Add milk, vanilla extract and almond extract, and beat well
  • Add in sugar cookie mix and mix until all lumps are gone
  • Gently fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula until fully blended
  • Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl and top with holiday sprinkles if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve

Notes

Make sure you heat-treat the sugar cookie mix before using for safety.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, and refrigerate within 2 hours of serving.
Make sure whipped topping is thawed, and mix it in with a spatula -- not the mixer -- so it will stay nice and creamy.
