- 17.5 oz sugar cookie mix
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 8 oz cool whip thawed
Put the sugar cookie mix into a large mixing bowl, and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mix reaches a temperature of 165℉. Allow to cool completely
Add cream cheese to a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth with a hand mixer
Add milk, vanilla extract and almond extract, and beat well
Add in sugar cookie mix and mix until all lumps are gone
Gently fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula until fully blended
Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl and top with holiday sprinkles if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve
Make sure you heat-treat the sugar cookie mix before using for safety.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, and refrigerate within 2 hours of serving.
Make sure whipped topping is thawed, and mix it in with a spatula -- not the mixer -- so it will stay nice and creamy.
