- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 pounds
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 425℉
Pour oil on a rimmed baking sheet, and rub some over chicken
Season chicken with sea salt and pepper, and place chicken, evenly spaced on baking sheet
Bake for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165℉, according to a meat thermometer
Cover, and allow to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
If chicken isn't even, place between 2 sheets of wax paper or in a large freezer bag and pound lightly with a meat mallet or rolling pin until pieces are even.
Salt and pepper are basic seasonings that are perfect for meal prep. You can use garlic powder or onion powder or blends such as lemon pepper, herbes de Provence, Italian seasoning or taco seasoning to fit the recipes you will be using with the chicken.
