Ingredients

  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 4 cups egg noodles uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or pot, add the ground beef, break up with a spoon, and add the dried onions, sea salt, garlic, pepper and paprika, and cook until no longer pink
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, beef broth and egg noodles and cook on medium high heat until noodles are soft, stirring frequently
  • Reduce heat to medium, and stir in the sour cream and Dijon mustard
  • Let simmer until sauce reduces and thickens, then serve immediately

Notes

You can add more beef broth if you like extra sauce. For an even creamier sauce, add up to 1 cup heavy cream or half and half.
Stir in 1 cup of thawed frozen peas near the end of cooking for a complete meal.
