- 1 pound extra lean ground beef
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups low sodium beef broth
- 4 cups egg noodles uncooked
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ cup sour cream
In a large skillet or pot, add the ground beef, break up with a spoon, and add the dried onions, sea salt, garlic, pepper and paprika, and cook until no longer pink
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, beef broth and egg noodles and cook on medium high heat until noodles are soft, stirring frequently
Reduce heat to medium, and stir in the sour cream and Dijon mustard
Let simmer until sauce reduces and thickens, then serve immediately
You can add more beef broth if you like extra sauce. For an even creamier sauce, add up to 1 cup heavy cream or half and half.
Stir in 1 cup of thawed frozen peas near the end of cooking for a complete meal.
