Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburgers
Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburgers are made with ground beef, glazed with BBQ sauce and topped with cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and jalapeño peppers. They're perfect for your next summer cookout!

- 3 pounds ground chuck
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons water
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 pound bacon
- 2 jalapeno peppers, sliced
Season beef with sea salt and pepper
add water, and mix well. Form into patties, about 1-inch thick
Grill burgers over medium high heat for about 5 to 7 minutes per side or until internal temperature is 160 degrees
Spread thin layer of barbecue sauce over burgers, then top with cheese
Remove from grill, and top burgers with bacon slices, jalapeno pepper slices and additional BBQ sauce, if desired. Serve immediately.
For extra flavor, sauté jalapeños in 1 tablespoon butter until slightly brown and soft before adding to burgers.
This recipe makes enough cheeseburgers for a 8 people, but you can adjust the amount for what you need or use the extras for leftovers!
