Jalapeno Jack Burgers with Cilantro Lime Sauce
Juicy burgers made with mild jalapeno peppers and topped with pepper jack cheese and a cool, creamy cilantro lime sauce

- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 teaspoons course Himalayan sea salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons water
- ½ cup chopped Mezzetta Tamed Deli Sliced Jalapeno Peppers
- slices Pepper jack cheese
- For the Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ¾ cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- Juice of 1 lime
- ½ cup chopped cilantro
- salt and pepper to taste
Mix the sea salt, ground pepper, chopped jalapeno peppers and water with the ground beef, and form into large patties.
Grill over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature is at least 160 degrees.
Top with slices of pepper jack cheese and more jalapeno slices, if desired
For the Cilantro Lime Sauce
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice and milk
Stir in cilantro and season with salt and pepper
