- 4 to 6 bone-in pork chops about ½ to ¾ inch thick
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup Italian salad dressing
Pat pork chops dry on both sides with a paper towel
Mix the garlic powder, sea salt and smoked paprika together, and rub on both sides of pork chops
Place chops in gallon zip top freezer bag, and pour Italian dressing over pork chops. Close bag, place in refrigerator, and marinate for 1 hour
Remove from fridge and place on counter while you heat grill. Rub avocado oil on grates to prevent sticking (optional) Cook over direct heat on medium heat (350°) degrees for 4 minutes on 1 side. Then flip and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on second side or until internal temperature is 145° or higher, according to meat thermometer
Remove to large platter, cover and allow to rest for 3 minutes before serving
To air fry, preheat air fryer to 380, and cook for 18 to 20 minutes, turning once, or until internal temperature is at least 145°
Thicker pork chops will take longer to cook.
Can marinate longer or overnight if desired.
You can also grill pork chops on the Ninja Foodi grill or similar indoor grill.
