Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Apples and Onions is an easy slow cooker recipe made with tender pork loin roast, apple slices and sweet onions. This delicious crock pot recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or Sunday dinners.

- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 4 pound boneless pork loin roast tied together
- 4 Granny Smith apples washed, peeled and sliced
- 1 small small yellow or white onion chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
Spray the slow cooker with non stick cooking spray
Pour the olive oil on the bottom of the Crock-Pot, and add the apples and onions.
Place the roast on top of the onions, fat side up, spread the mustard over the roast. Add the garlic cloves between the cuts in the roast
Season with salt, garlic powder and pepper. Optional, add cinnamon.
Place lid on slow cooker, and cook on high for about 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.
The exact cooking times may vary depending upon the size of the roast, but when it reaches 145 degrees, according to a meat thermometer, it's done.
Cut ties off roast, slice roast, and place back into the slow cooker on warm until ready to eat.
